Quick little update here.
A few weeks ago, I flew to New York for the 2017 Quora Top Writer meetup. The last time I went to a Quora meetup was this same venue two years ago, my first year as a Top Writer.
I can't believe all the things that have happened since then:
1) Became a columnist for Inc Magazine.
2) Left my 9-5 to become a full-time writer.
3) Have traveled more in the past year than I did in the 5 years prior.
4) Just launched my first company, a ghostwriting + influence agency called Digital Press.
To name a few...
But really, this Quora meetup was so much more than just "another event." The Quora community is such a unique one, and everyone there is so willing to talk, share what they know, and have great conversations.
(FYI, Entrepreneur Life is real and although it seems like life is all vacations and bottles of wine when you become an entrepreneur, I have been putting in 15+ hour days, week after week, for months now. I'm prioritizing this blog because I want to document the journey.)
I vlogged a bit during my trip to NY. And then my laptop broke so I was MIA for a few weeks. Currently driving the new MacBook Pro—and aside from the fact that the keyboard is absolutely infuriating, it's an incredible computer.
Now, here's some of my favorites from my most recent content:
What I'm Currently Reading
Still working my way through The Best American Short Stories 2016.
This week is Techweek in Chicago, so I'll be attending that. Then the following week I'm in Arizona. Then two weeks after that I'm in Nantucket (first time ever going there, so I'm pretty pumped).
Then moving to Los Angeles at the end of July.
Big things happening.
